The competition was hosted by China Cultural Industry Promotion Association and Chaoyang People's Government, supported by Liaoning Provincial Sports Bureau, undertaken by Chaoyang Cultural Tourism, Radio and Television Bureau, co organized by Chaoyang Daling River Scenic Area Management Office and Chaoyang Loong Boat Association, and implemented by Loong Boat Culture Professional Committee of China Cultural Industry Promotion Association. This is the first time that Chaoyang has joined the Ice Loong Boat Super League. The Ice Loong Boat Super League is the largest and most influential annual event combining ice and snow elements and traditional culture in China. This year's league will hold 8 matches in five provinces including Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Hebei, and Inner Mongolia, namely Harbin Station in Heilongjiang, Huinan Station in Jilin, Changchun Station in Jilin, Fushun Station in Liaoning, Kangbao Station in Hebei, Chaoyang Station in Liaoning, Shenyang Station in Liaoning, and Xilinhot Station in Inner Mongolia (final).

This competition is divided into two categories: the open group and the local group, with a total of 31 teams and nearly 500 athletes participating. Among them, the open group consists of 19 representative teams from various provinces and cities across the country; The local team consists of 12 local Loong Boat teams in Chaoyang City. Take part in the 12 person ice Loong Boat 200m straight race, the 5 person ice Loong Boat 100m straight race, the 12 person ice Loong Boat 300m turn around race, and the 4 person combination dragon 100m straight race.

With the order of the referee, Loong Boat rushed out of the starting point like arrows, chasing each other on the flat ice. During the competition, the athletes rowed in order and shouted loudly across the sky. The hundred poles moved together and the ice splashed. The ice poles collided with the ice surface to create a war song, driving the Loong Boat to fly on the ice.
